The first time I was able to go to Ecuador was about 10
years ago. About a year or so before
that I had heard the testimony of Steve Saint, the son of one of the five
missionaries killed in Ecuador, and Mincaye who was believed to be one of the
Auca Indians that killed his father. God
used the stories and lives of these men to call me to go to Ecuador. The last time I was in Ecuador was about 9
years ago. I’ve wanted to go back ever
since but it hasn’t worked out until now.
Maybe the reason is because I wasn’t ready. The first time I went to Ecuador I was a
different person than I am now. I really
had no idea what it meant to be a missionary back then. I want to live my life every day, completely
for Christ, not holding anything back! I
am excited to be a part of what The Lord is doing, and is going to be doing in
Ecuador this summer!
